apparently VW is creating the most economical car in the world. it’s a single seat car, that may cost a mere USD 600!!

i have started to pack for my trip to australia. and in typical style, i thought i would check out what’s out there on the internet about it… some very useful things. 

The Universal Packing List is very cool. you put in the dates you’re leaving, and some basic information – e.g. are you bringing a digital camera etc… and then it churns out a list of things for you to consider bringing – everything from clothes, to equipment, to leisure things. quite an extensive list is generated.

then there is One Bag which advocates that a prepared packing list is well worth the thinking, and the energy to get that done. this site seems rather thorough, even suggesting the bundle wrap method of packing clothes – it is more space savvy, and produces less wrinkles!
